Welcome to the new and improved Big-Muscles Group!

After a short hiatus of about 2 weeks, the Newly Improved Big-Muscles Group is bigger and better than before. We have several new categories and many new contributing artists who have joined our community. As you know I find it both appealing and important that the members of this group contribute to the success of the group. That means you won't find 25% of the membership adding all of the artwork that brings visitors to the group (roughly 400 average a day - just to the front page) but you will find that 100% of the membership is responsible for the artwork available in our many galleries. I know there are some groups that have 3, 4 even 5,000 members and that's great for them but I would rather have nearly 400 quality, contributing members rather than a boatload of deactivated, inactive, lurkers call consider themselves "actively" bringing us new muscle art daily. That being said we have added about 25 new members just in the past two weeks and that is exciting for me - I can't wait to see all of their new artwork. I hope you anticipate their new artwork as well.



I know that page-views really shouldn't matter to most but we are quickly approaching a milestone for this group - 400K page-visits. That's a big number. And I'm proud to say that we have drawn that many deviants to this group in search of the muscled male. It's a very popular subject and there are probably a hundred or more groups that follow this theme. But where we promote a variety of styles, we also promote a variety of genres and mediums. It was always my intention to highlight the various kinds of artists who think outside of the box and collectively bring them together to showcase for the deviant world to see.



And I believe I have successfully achieved that goal. It hasn't been smooth sailing and we've encountered many bumps (some which I've caused myself, I  know) but through it all I believe the group is stronger and more vibrant than before which means more participation. I'm glad to have brought back the Anthro/Furry Artwork, and the Morphed Muscle Artwork galleries. Those were two very foundation galleries in the group as well as the 3D Mesh Gallery - mainly because those galleries are my personal favorites. We also have brought back the Uber Muscle Artwork and created new galleries such as: Fan Art, Giant, Meme/ID/Wallpaper, and Muscle Growth. I'm hoping to bring on board Muscle Literature and Stock Photography as two new galleries to add a new dimension to the group. I believe if we offer Stock Photography perhaps that will help budding new artists produce artwork contributable to the group.

So there you have it. New Artists. New Art. New Galleries. And a milestone for the group just around the corner.
