1. Name: Morgan May aka and now
2. Occupation: (outside of DA) Division commander at my local Sheriffs office.
3. Status: Married with kids
4. Location: Greeley, Colorado (north eastern Colorado)
5. Years making muscle art: Started dabbling in muscle art in high school sooo like over 15 years?
6. Schooling - formal - for art, if any: A little bit of community college but got tired of all of the general Ed classes to get my art degree so I dropped out. My biggest teacher has been YouTube as to tutorials as far as digital art. Otherwise self-taught and studying the human body through FLEX magazine.
7. Your professional artist inspiration (mine is Boris Vallejo) : Ed Mcguinness and Greg Capullo.
8. I see you are an amateur bodybuilder - have you competed? Where? Results? Yes I have competed, Aloha Classic most recent. Held in my hometown. Light heavy weight and came in 4th in my class.
9. Where do you train? The conditioning spa.
10. Any advice for anyone who trains to become a bodybuilder? Or just those who lift weights? Focus on the mind muscle connection, visualize the muscle growing and working while you lift. You need to know each muscles specific function in order to do this and what it looks like though; it works!

11a. What are your tools of the trade (wacom, Photoshop, number 5 pencil, etc.) : Cintiq UX 21, regular printer paper and whatever mechanical pencil I can find lying around.
11b. What motivates you to make muscle artwork? My past in bodybuilding and an absolute love for muscle and the look of it.
12. Is it a time consuming process? Yes it is and some days are better than others. It's a process to create an image that I enjoy and I believe others would in the same.
13. What distracts you? My patience. I've come to learn that great art takes time but with each piece I get better because with each piece you learn something new.
14. You have a lot of superhero artwork (which I personally love to an insane level) - who are your favorite superheroes and why? Personally love batman and superman, they have always embodied true muscle. However, any superhero I can muscle-up I love!
15. What is difficult for you the draw? I struggle with backgrounds and sometimes specific poses.
16. Why Muscle? Why not landscapes, still life or my Pretty Pony? Muscle is awesome and I find it appealing. No offense to the "bronies" but that crap doesn't interest me and landscapes are boring unless there's a big muscle beast standing in the landscape.
17. How is that comic coming along? Been put to the side, working in law enforcement I just don't have the time for it. Plus I've really tried to focus on muscle artwork because I want to build a large fan base.
18. What do you think the future holds for you - artistically, professionally, muscley? I would like to get paid for my art. Although my current job is at times viewed as upstanding I do it only to support my family. I want to do what I love which is drawing muscle. Hopefully one day I can make money and a living off of it.
Tell me anything else you want us to know about you and your artwork. I am straight but I do understand that some of my fan base may not be. I do my artwork for them and of course for me. We are all human and appreciate different things. I love muscle on men and women and the mainstream does not always except or even understand that, I say bring on the freaks! Love of muscle is just that, love.
Thank you, BigMDesigns for sharing your passion for muscle art with us at Big-Muscles Group and Cheers for your future success in all that you seek to accomplish!
Just what goes IN the Anthro Submission Gallery
We seem to have a problem.
Many people don't understand.
The ANTHRO GALLERY is for ANTHRO Artwork ONLY .
Certainly I bet you hit that button first and didn't even think about it - oops - I submitted to the wrong gallery. But if we take the number of submissions to the entire group x those lazily just choosing the first choice of many you find out how many times I get frustrated landing those submissions into the correct galleries. It's annoying. So let's see just what does go into that gallery.
And PLEASE submit to the correct galleries.

Ignorance isn't Bliss it's just Ignorance
This is an interim journal while I make a festive Christmas Holiday Journal featuring all of our fabulous artists and their artistry for the holiday season of 2019 - from all the galleries so look for it coming in the next two days (I PROMISE).
We have a successful group. We are not judgmental. We don't hide behind other artists and make claims that we create our artwork from scratch when we just trace and fill in with colors that were stolen from the best. We don't ridicule, make false claims or treat other artists with disdain because we think we know it all. If artwork is rejected we try our best to tell the artist why - usually it's bec
SPRING CLEANING
Hey Everyone,
Thank you for the great interest and daily contributions to the group. It's great, really, but it's time for a break - Spring break that is. And by that I mean to say I am currently embroiled in a new personal project that is leading me to start a new off shoot group unsure if it will be as successful as this group but I'll try. It'll be a fantasy based group that features all sorts of PG13 images of all things we don't support here - oh you know women who are appropriately clothed along with guys, the same, and all kinds of creatures, monsters and demons (YES DEMONS). Anyway, I have to set that up in the interim if you're remo
